At AutoEx, we are committed to providing reliable automotive diagnostic equipment and professional technical support. This Warranty Policy describes the warranty coverage, service process, and conditions applicable to hardware equipment purchased from AutoEx.

1. Warranty Coverage

Hardware Equipment Warranty

This warranty applies to hardware equipment only.

The warranty coverage includes:

  • Technical integration
  • Functional testing
  • Delivery acceptance

AutoEx provides warranty support for confirmed issues related to:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Technical integration defects

Software, third-party applications, vehicle manufacturer systems, and external services are not covered under this hardware warranty unless otherwise specified.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period is: 180 days from the completed delivery date.

The warranty period will not restart or extend after:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Technical service
  • Troubleshooting assistance

Any remaining warranty period continues based on the original delivery date.

3. Warranty Verification Process

All warranty claims must follow AutoEx verification procedures.

Step 1 – Contact Technical Support

Customers must contact AutoEx technical support through email or phone and provide:

  • Order number
  • Product serial number
  • Customer information
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos if required

Step 2 – Remote Diagnosis

Remote diagnosis is required before any return shipment.

AutoEx technical specialists will:

  • Review the reported issue
  • Perform troubleshooting procedures
  • Confirm the condition of the equipment
  • Determine whether the issue qualifies for warranty service

Customers must receive return approval before shipping any product.

Step 3 – Manufacturer Inspection and Confirmation

For claims related to manufacturing defects:

  • Refund, replacement, or warranty resolution will only be processed after the defect is confirmed.

AutoEx does not approve warranty refunds or replacements based solely on unverified customer claims.

4. Warranty Service Timeline

AutoEx aims to process warranty cases according to the following timeline:

Initial Assessment

Within: 7 business days

after receiving sufficient information from the customer.

Resolution Process

Within: 14 business days

after warranty approval and completion of required verification.

Maximum Processing Time

Up to: 20 business days

depending on product condition, inspection requirements, manufacturer response, and shipping circumstances.

5. Warranty Resolution

Depending on the inspection results, AutoEx may provide:

  • Technical support
  • Repair service
  • Product replacement
  • Refund (when applicable)

For confirmed manufacturing defects that cannot be fully repaired:

  • Replacement may be provided at no additional product cost.
  • Replacement availability depends on manufacturer stock and product availability.

6. Return Requirements

Before returning any product, customers must obtain approval from AutoEx.

Products returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Approved returned products must:

  • Remain in original condition
  • Have the original serial number matching purchase records
  • Include all accessories
  • Include original packaging and documentation
  • Not have unauthorized modifications or repairs

Missing accessories, damaged packaging, or reduced product condition may result in deductions or restocking fees.

7. Return Shipping

For approved warranty returns:

Customers are responsible for:

  • Shipping the product to the designated return location
  • Using an approved shipping carrier

AutoEx Responsibility

After approved warranty service is completed:

  • AutoEx will cover return shipping costs when applicable.

The return address will only be provided after warranty approval.

Customers must not send products to any address without AutoEx confirmation.

Any unauthorized shipment will be made at the customer's own risk and responsibility.

8. Restocking and Condition Fees

AutoEx reserves the right to apply handling or restocking fees depending on the specific situation.

A deduction of up to 10-30% of the product value may apply when:

  • Accessories are missing
  • Original packaging is missing
  • Product condition affects resale value

The final deduction will be determined based on inspection results.

9. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage
  • Water or liquid damage
  • Damage caused by accidents
  • Unauthorized repair or modification
  • Improper installation
  • Incorrect voltage connection
  • Misuse or operation outside product instructions

10. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Checking product specifications and compatibility before purchase
  • Following installation and usage instructions
  • Maintaining product condition
  • Backing up any personal data before using equipment or services

AutoEx is not responsible for:

  • Data loss caused by customer failure to back up data
  • Indirect damages or consequential losses
  • Problems caused by third-party systems outside AutoEx's control

11. Delivery Information

Estimated delivery time: 7-20 business days

Delivery time may vary depending on:

  • Customer location
  • Shipping carrier
  • Customs clearance procedures
  • Local regulations

AutoEx uses professional shipping carriers, including DHL, FedEx, and UPS, depending on destination and service availability.
